Sharing its foundations with our best-selling mountain bike, the Carrera Vengeance E Mens Electric Mountain Bike 2.0 offers capability with added assistance. The 317Wh battery has a range of up to 40 miles to help you stay at your best, and a charge time of 6 hours meaning it can easily be topped up overnight. When you need it, the rear hub motor delivers speeds up to 15.5mph without compromising traction.
A lightweight aluminium frame helps with handling, while 8-speed SRAM gearing keeps you in complete control. Straight-forward stopping power comes in the form of Tektro Mechanical Disc Brakes with 180mm rotors. The Suntour XCT coil suspension with 100mm travel will cushion the bumps, as will the chunky 27.5” Kenda K1027 tyres. The Carrera Vengeance Men’s Electric Mountain Bike offers an all-round package to tackle any hill. Rest assured, this model also comes with a 2-year warranty on all electrical components.
Battery:
A semi integrated Suntour STL battery is mounted onto the Vengeance E’s frame, weight is balanced against the rear mounted hub motor providing an improved ride quality, over those with rear-mounted batteries. With a capacity of 317Wh / 9Ah and a range of up to 40miles* per charge the Vengeance E is more than capable for those off-road battles. To support the sophisticated motor and battery system, the Vengeance E comes with a smart control system (BMS) that protects the battery from overheating, short circuiting or overcharging.
Note - the total travel distance will depend on the capacity of the battery, rider and luggage weight, power mode setting and riding style.
Motor:
The Carrera Vengeance E is underpinned with a rear hub Suntour Eco electric motor system, seamlessly integrated into the rear wheel; providing reliable, high torque power directly to the wheel.
Sensor:
The intuitive cadence sensor will adjust the power output based on the users pedalling speed. When the users cadence increases then the system will increase the power output.
Display:
The electric motor of the Carrera Vengeance E 2.0 is controlled via a Suntour OLED multifunctional display and integrated remote. The OLED display allows you to choose from one of 4 assistance modes, eco, tour, sport and turbo, depending on the level of support you require. The unit also allows the user to view additional data whilst riding, such as speed, mileage, trip time and battery level.
