  • Made from water-resistant polyester, the Tatra offers some protection in light rain or damp conditions. However, it’s not fully waterproof and doesn’t come with an integrated rain cover. For heavy rain or extended exposure to wet weather, we recommend using a waterproof rucksack cover. Sadly, we don't sell them, but they are on our radar, so watch this space.
  • Yes, it's suitable for DofE expeditions, especially at Bronze and Silver levels. It meets the DofE's minimum recommended capacity of 60 litres, offering ample space for all your gear. While it’s not on the official DofE recommended kit list, it’s a great budget-friendly option. Also, it's great for events like the Ten Tors, which takes place in our home county, Devon.
